Studying With a Disability
The Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) makes it possible for students with a disability or who are chronically ill to take part in courses and student life, with equal rights and autonomously.
We recommend that you contact us if you are considering studying at the HNU so that we can answer any questions you may have and, if necessary, discuss individual solutions.
Freely accessible building
The main building of the HNU can be accessed and used by persons with a handicap without any restrictions. We have:
- Parking spaces reserved for disabled persons
- Access ramps
- Automatically controlled doors
- All lecture halls, seminar- and PC rooms as well as the cafeteria and the library are accessible
- Accessible toilets for those with a physical handicap
See for yourself
If you are interested in studying here at the HNU, you are welcome to make an appointment for a personal consultation about your needs here as regards your handicap; you can also visit the campus (e.g. seminar rooms, library, cafeteria, toilets) so that you can see for yourself and find out whether building and facilities are suited to your needs.
Please make an appointment with us. If required, we will also help you in applying for further assistance (e.g. a sign language interpreter, technical equipment).
