HNU | Information Management in Healthcare B.Sc. – Curriculum

The degree programme Information Management in Healthcare is, to date, unique in Germany in this form. It is offered in cooperation with the Ulm University of Applied Sciences. The Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) covers the business-related and healthcare management courses, whereas the Ulm University of Applied Sciences offers the medical and information-centred courses.

In this way, the specific strengths of the universities of applied sciences are used effectively. The Ulm University of Applied Sciences has long-standing experience in the research in and teaching of the application of computer science to medicine. The HNU contributes expert know-how and experience in the research and teaching of management of healthcare facilities, especially African healthcare facilities.

Both universities of applied sciences are in close contact with healthcare facilities, software developers and the pharmaceutical industry. The HNU has a widespread international network of contacts with healthcare facilities, especially with partners in Africa.
