Standard period of study

Seven semesters, six of them theoretical, one internship semester

Practical experience

One internship semester, practical projects, conceptual seminars and case studies in the theoretical semesters, practice-oriented Bachelor thesis

International aspects

English and possibly another foreign language, providing intercultural competence, international exchange or internship abroad, Double-degree programme


German and
English (5th and 6th semester)

University entrance qualification, Abitur (certificate from German secondary schools qualifying for university entrance), or any other qualification for university entrance plus a commercial internship or an internship in the areas of design, promotion, marketing

Bachelor thesis

A problem – usually from corporate practice – is analysed using academic methods and solutions are presented
