The Universidad Latina de Costa Rica also offers the HNU Department of Healthcare Management students the opportunity to prepare for working in a real hospital in a specially-built simulation hospital with western standards.

With around 25,000 students, the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica is the largest private university in the country. The university's educational focus is on the fields of engineering, architecture, design, social sciences, health sciences and information and communication.
