Public Transport in Neu-Ulm and Ulm
Donau-Iller-Nahverkehrsverbund-GmbH – DING for short – is responsible for local public transport in Ulm/Neu-Ulm and the Alb-Donau district.
You can use the electronic timetable to look up all transport connections including travel times, itineraries and local maps and draw up your own personal timetable.
On weekdays from 6 pm onwards, at weekends and on public holidays, students may use all the public transport in the DING region free of charge on presentation of their student card.
New students who are just starting their studies in Ulm and Neu-Ulm and have registered their main place of residence in Ulm for the first time receive a free semester pass. This free travel pass can be obtained directly from the registration authority in ServiceCenter Neue Mitte. Besides your identity card or passport you must also show your student card.
For students in all other semesters, the semester pass costs € 105. It can be used for unlimited travel on all lines in the DING area – around the clock.
