Practical Application

For our university, direct and intensive cooperation with smaller regional companies as well as with big multinationals is one of our most important strategic success factors. Essential for this are a number of different activities:
  • advising companies
  • project seminars in cooperation with businesses: Project seminars are designed to work on a special issue chosen and outlined by the respective company at the beginning of the seminar. During the semester students in competing work groups develop concepts about how to manage the introduced issue. Some examples of these are marketing concepts, internationalization strategies and process optimization.
  • supervision of bachelor, master and doctoral theses of students who work on a company-related issue as employees or as part of an internship.
